Stormy Skies & Vineyard Vows | Tamera & Michael’s Montaluce Winery Engagement Session
Some of the most unforgettable engagement sessions happen when the weather doesn’t go as planned—and that was exactly the case for Tamera and Michael’s spring evening at Montaluce Winery in Dahlonega, Georgia. What was supposed to be a sun-drenched golden hour quickly turned into something even more breathtaking: a dramatic, stormy sky that wrapped their session in moody romance and cinematic charm.
As an adventure photographer, I live for moments like this. When the wind picks up, the clouds roll in, and the couple leans into the unexpected—magic happens. Tamera and Michael absolutely did that.
Storm Clouds & Soft Whispers Among the Vines
We started their session just as the sky began to darken, casting a soft silver light over the vineyard. The air felt electric, filled with that pre-storm stillness, and the vines swayed gently in the wind. Tamera’s windswept hair and Michael’s quiet strength made every frame feel raw and honest—like something out of a love poem.
They didn’t hesitate for a second. Shoes came off, laughter echoed between the rows of grapes, and the thunder in the distance only made them hold each other tighter.
Your Adventure, Your Story
If you’re dreaming of an engagement session that embraces the wild, the real, and the beautifully unplanned, Montaluce is a perfect place to let it all unfold. Whether it’s golden light or stormy skies, this place—and your story—will shine.
